This is my last desperate attempt to get people to watch this show.

What is it about? Southland takes a raw and authentic look at Los Angeles and the lives of the LAPD  officers who police it. The show centers on the experiences and interactions of LAPD patrol officers and detectives, and is more a character-driven drama than a police procedural.
Familiar faces? Ben McKenzie (The O.C.), Kevin Alejandro (Ugly Betty, Parenthood, Shark), Michael Cudlitz (Band of Brothers), Shawn Hatosy (Dexter), Tom Everett Scott (ER) Regina King (Enemy of the State, Ray) & Arija Bareikis (Oz).
How many episodes? 3 seasons, 23 episodes.
Why you should watch: Amazing writing, gorgeous photography, talented cast (I’m telling you, even the extras are good), intense episodes. This is a cop show but it is NOT a procedural show. For me, the best show on tv right now.
